Prof. Mohamed Alani is a Professor of Cybersecurity at Rochester Institute Of Technology, Dubai, UAE. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering with a specialization in network security and brings extensive international experience, including serving as VP of Academic Affairs in the UAE, security consultancies across the Middle East, and Cybersecurity Program Manager in Toronto, Canada. He is the author of many books on networking and cybersecurity, and has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He holds numerous industry certifications including CASP+, CySA+, PenTest+, CCNA, and Microsoft Azure Data Science Associate. His current research focuses on the application of machine learning in cybersecurity and ML security.
